Built to help middle-aged guys escape mediocrity and fire up new brain pathways, this project started off as a Number Guessing Game, then it turned into chaos. Chaos is cool, sometimes. Tag stuff. Learn stuff. Maybe crash a server.

Lloyd Dobler: the trench-coated protagonist of the seminal 1989 film *Say Anything* (arguably the finest year of the '80s, possibly the '90s too — hell, I wish I was still in ’89). Before there was The Dude, there was Lloyd. Lloyd — an amalgam of every archetype in your high school cafeteria — stood as the existential counterweight to the Reagan-era transactionality that defined so much of '80s pop culture. He wasn’t trying to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything. He just wanted to stand in the rain, hold up a boombox, and believe in something — even if that something was a Peter Gabriel song. More than just a hopeless romantic, Lloyd represented the distilled opposite of Gordon Gekko. Two years after *Wall Street* made “Greed is good” gospel, *Say Anything* whispered, “Yeah… but so is awkward sincerity and a killer mixtape.”
